Worship Ministries
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild at Trinity is a volunteer group of the parish whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. They prepare the altar for all services including weekday and Sunday services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other occasions as needed.

Eucharistic Ministers
No prior experience is required; however, strong faith and interest in Christ are essential for this special ministry..
During the Eucharist (Holy Communion), the Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest by offering bread or wine to the worshipers.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers or (LEMS) must be dedicated to their ministries, demonstrate faith in Jesus Christ, exhibit a spiritual maturity and have a good reputation in the local congregation.

Servers and Lectors
Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Our liturgies should utilize the talents and gifts that God has given this community to the fullest extent. Our servers assist the clergy as crucifers, torch bearers, thurifers, and acolytes.
During the liturgy, the reader is fulfilling a mission to his or her fellow community members. It is a sacred duty that involves a sharing of one's own faith. This does not mean that a reading should be stiff or formal, but rather the realization that we are continuing Jesus's mission of sharing the Word with God's people. It is something special and requires adequate preparation.

Acolytes
The ministry of acolytes is a service ministry within the Church that comes to us from ancient times. The word “Acolyte” comes from the Greek word akolouthos, which means “a servant or attendant who waits continually upon another.” From those days until now acolytes have been faithful and conscientious men, women, boys and girls, who serve Christ Jesus in the celebration of liturgical functions. Their service helps to keep the liturgy flowing smoothly and opens the way for worshipers to participate without distraction. What an acolyte does is both a personal offering of time and energy to God and also a communal responsibility. While the roles at a specific liturgy may vary, the crossbearer (crucifer), torchbearer, thurifer and boat bearer are all considered acolytes properly speaking.

Greeters & Ushers
The Greeters Ministry welcomes parishioners and guests to Trinity. The greeters are on hand before each service to answer questions and make sure everyone knows how glad we are to worship with them. It’s a small commitment with a big impact.

Audio / Video Operators
This team handles the sound and recording equipment in the Church. This includes the cameras, console and microphones, both fixed and carried by individuals. Most services are broadcast live and recorded.
