The Land is Not Empty: Following Jesus in Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery

Join Us for our fall adult education series: The Land is Not Empty Hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church & Faith Lutheran Church.

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM | October 9th - Nov 6th at Trinity Episcopal Church

We invite you to a powerful study series exploring how Christians can walk alongside Indigenous communities in the work of repair and reconciliation. The Land is Not Empty: Following Jesus in Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery will guide us through understanding the historical and ongoing impacts of the Doctrine of Discovery and how we, as people of faith, are called to seek justice and healing. Through study, prayer, and shared reflection, we will learn how to follow Jesus in dismantling harmful systems and nurturing a future rooted in equity and peace. We will be meeting together with Rev'd Kris Trahnstrom and members of Faith Lutheran Church.
